Terms of Service

Last Updated: May 14, 2026

Welcome to ThinkLikeLaw. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. These terms govern your relationship with us and define how you may use our technology to master the law.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account, subscribing to our services, or simply browsing the ThinkLikeLaw platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these terms. Our services are intended for users aged 18 and over, or minors with parental consent.

2. Academic Integrity & Acceptable Use

ThinkLikeLaw is an advanced educational AI designed to augment your legal research, IRAC structure mastery, and case analysis. It is not a substitute for independent academic work or legal advice.

  • Plagiarism Prevention: You must not submit raw AI-generated outputs as your own coursework, essays, or exam answers. We provide tools for study, not for academic misconduct.
  • Institutional Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring that your use of AI tools complies with the specific policies of your University or professional examining body.
  • Prohibited Conduct: You may not use the platform to reverse-engineer our proprietary legal models, scrape data, or generate content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on third-party rights.

3. Accounts and Security

When you create an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are solely responsible for the security of your credentials. Unauthorized use of your account must be reported to our support team immediately. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that show patterns of abuse or sharing beyond the single-user license.

4. Subscription, Billing & Refunds

Premium access is provided on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring cycle (monthly or annually).

  • Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. Access will continue until the end of the paid period.
  • Refunds: Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Generally, partial months are non-refundable once the billing cycle has commenced.

5. Intellectual Property

The "ThinkLikeLaw" brand, our proprietary algorithms, the ThinkLikeLaw platform, and all associated software are owned by ThinkLikeLaw Ltd. You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use these tools for your own educational advancement. You retain ownership of the original text you upload, but grant us a limited licence to process that text for the purpose of providing AI analysis.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

ThinkLikeLaw is provided "as is" and "as available." While we strive for absolute accuracy in our OSCOLA auditing and statutory citations, we do not guarantee that the AI will be error-free or that it will satisfy the specific requirements of every legal examiner.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThinkLikeLaw Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform, including academic penalties or professional reliance on AI outputs.
